This is the 'Rainbow Mansion Tint,' one of the products I bought during the Olive Young sale💋❤️
I usually watch Minsco's YouTube channel, and I found out about this brand and product through one of his videos haha.
Now that I'm not even wearing a mask anymore, this is a lip tint I find myself wearing even more often!
It is a tint with a visual that feels like an object, stylish and somewhat hip.
I heard that Rainbow Mansion is a vegan objet cosmetic brand, and it really felt like they captured the concept well.
The packaging itself feels like a crumpled object, and since it's the first time I've seen a tint with this kind of visual appeal, I found it really fascinating!!
There are various colors available, but I bought No. 9 Perception!
One thing I find inconvenient about using this is that fingerprints show up on the packaging very easily, so it feels like it gets really dirty even with just a slight touch.
(Of course, if you wipe it on your clothes, it cleans quickly and well too, haha.)
And another thing I'm disappointed about is that the tint lid is actually a bit inconvenient to open and close every time I use it. It's especially a bit uncomfortable when applying.
Although there are far more satisfying aspects, the packaging is a bit disappointing.
Now that I've actually used the tint, the color payoff is amazing, and the shade is really pretty!
Nude and shades don't suit me, so I chose this color because it stands out a bit. I wondered if it was slightly cool-toned... but then again, maybe not *extremely* cool? Anyway, I felt it was a rather intriguing color! They describe it as a mauve burgundy, and perhaps because of the burgundy vibe, it felt like a shade I would really crave during the winter.♡ However, it is a tint that makes for a beautiful pop of color even when worn in the summer.👍🏻😘
It applies incredibly smoothly and adheres well to the lips, but it isn't particularly drying.
It has a texture somewhat like a velvet lip tint, and since the surface doesn't become matte over time, I didn't really feel any dryness.
It doesn't really emphasize dry skin that much, but I think it would look prettier if you took care of your lip exfoliation before applying it.
It is a tint, but since it doesn't soak in or stain the lips, it sits on the surface and transfers easily. However, it doesn't make the color fade quickly, so I am satisfied with it.
It has a soft and comfortable finish, so I found it fine to use even on days when my lips are a bit dry! Personally, rather than applying it over a very glossy lip balm, I find that if I apply a lip balm that leaves a clean residue first and then apply this tint on top, it keeps my lips much less dry.
I didn't find it very drying even when applying just this on its own, but if your lips are extremely dry, I think it would be better to use it like this!!
