I'm debating between mineral and chemical sunscreens. Which one is better for sensitive skin?
My skin has become sensitive lately, so whenever I apply sunscreen, it stings and causes breakouts. That’s why I’m trying to decide whether mineral or chemical sunscreens are better for sensitive skin. I hear that mineral sunscreens are good because the ingredients are gentle, but I’ve also heard a lot of people say they leave a severe white cast.
On the other hand, I am very confused because I hear that while organic sunscreens spread well, they can irritate sensitive skin. I need sunscreen for oily skin in the summer because my skin gets oilier, but on dry days, sunscreen for dry skin seems to suit me better. These days, there are many tone-up sunscreens available that are great to use instead of makeup, but I am disappointed that mineral tone-up sunscreens leave a white cast, and I am worried about irritation from organic tone-up sunscreens.
Ultimately, which sunscreen is the least irritating for sensitive skin? Please let me know if you have any recommendations among mineral sunscreens, chemical sunscreens, sunscreens for oily skin, sunscreens for dry skin, and tone-up sunscreens!
