Difference between mineral sunscreen and organic sunscreen

I'm posting this because I'm curious.

What are mineral and chemical sunscreens?

These are terms for sunscreen that I am hearing for the first time: mineral sunscreen and organic sunscreen.

When I chose sunscreen, I used to select it based only on the SPF number.

I guess I should look into mineral and chemical sunscreens from now on.

For reference, I have dry skin.

The sunscreen I am currently using is

I am using Lancôme sunscreen and Missha BB cream.

I am satisfied with both products, but it seems I have to reapply them over time to see results.

I sometimes do field work at a weekend farm.

What would be a better sunscreen?

I would also like to know the difference between mineral and chemical sunscreens.
