It is the sweltering summer season right now!!
Everyone is moving beyond skincare, right? Saying, "Isn't skincare more important in winter than in summer?"
Of course, skincare is really important in winter because it is dry, but summer skincare is just as—no, even more—important!
The important reason!!! Summer is hot, isn't it? Due to UV rays and heat, moisture evaporates from deep within the skin, leaving it dehydrated. On top of that, when you go indoors, you get exposed to strong air conditioning drafts, right? The moisture lost due to the heat, combined with the dryness caused by the air conditioning, leaves your skin even more dehydrated. However, the reason you don't really feel dry is likely because oil comes to the surface!
Another important reason is that the skin gets irritated by the heat of UV rays, so soothing is really important!!
Then everyone would probably just be looking for something like a moisturizing and soothing cream, right?
Noooooo, not that kind of thing! Oh, yes, moisturizing and soothing creams are great!! But we need to replenish the lost moisture from deep within the skin! So don't just think about quick, simple results!! Let's find a product!
I'm not saying you should buy this kind of product! For example, let me explain it properly!!
(I’ve been told my whole life that I have good skin, but when I had the test done this time, the examiner was... speechless lol. They said they had nothing to say lol)
I am setting the maximum to 4 and the minimum to 3 levels.
First, I use a water-like formula to penetrate deep into the skin, and I use Wellage Real Hyaluronic Blue 100 Ampoule.
I'm not saying you *must* use this specific product; I think you should just look at the brand and effects you want and use a product with a watery texture!
It performs the first step of skincare with this viscosity-free, watery texture!
Step 2 doesn't need to be significantly different from Step 1; just use a product with slightly higher viscosity and apply it on top of the moisture added in Step 1.
I use the COSRX The Niacinamide 15 Serum. Although I received this product as a gift, I want you to know that I currently have absolutely no obligation to promote it!!
When I received the product for promotion, I recommended products containing hyaluronic acid as a good match; coincidentally, the products I am currently using also contain hyaluronic acid, so I am using them.
To get back to the point, I recommend a product that is slightly more viscous than Step 1!! In that case, the product names referring to Step 1 and Step 2 might be the same (for example, both being an ampoule or serum), but since Skintear products are named based on how much thinner the ingredients are compared to purified water, you don't need to worry about it!
So you'll be even more surprised when you watch the video; there really isn't any difference from Level 1 lol
There really isn't much difference, right?? However, even a slight difference in viscosity makes a difference in how deeply it penetrates the skin!
You might think that step 3 makes it thick right away, and I do think that way too. However, if I break it down into too many steps, my skin can't absorb it all and just rejects it, and perhaps because it's too much, I end up getting even more breakouts. So, I tend to just do it this way.
I liked using a moisturizer at this stage because it seemed to coat the moisture established up to step 2 and replenish it more thoroughly! So, I recommend a moisturizer that is a bit less thick and lighter!!
I am Milk Touch's Western Small Face Green Hyaluronic Acid 6-Second Moisture Cream.
I only do step 4 when I'm feeling a bit lazy, but normally I have to do all the steps for my skin to look absolutely glowing the next day. (And the inner glow is seriously insane!!)
The final step, step 4, is a thick moisturizing cream made by mixing Vaseline and regular moisturizing cream! They just call this a moisturizing cream too, though... lol. I guess they're all the same lol.
When I apply a thick product last, I really get the distinct feeling that it's coating my skin to prevent the products I've absorbed up until now from evaporating!! And I feel so satisfied, like I've really done a proper skincare routine. Hahaha.
So, the product used in step 4 is Real Hyaluronic 100 Cream for inner dryness. This product is just for reference; I recommend trying to find and use a product with a similar texture!!
If you have any further questions, please leave them in the comments and I will reply right away!! Let's take good care of our skin together even as the summer gets hotter!!
