If you buy the wrong cotton pads, some products can cause the pad itself to fray and leave lint-like crumbs when you wipe your face with toner, but this product is so sturdy that I haven't experienced that even once in the years I've been using it!

It is thin so it doesn't absorb much toner, but the cotton pad absorbs well, so you can wipe your face with just a small amount without irritation. It is also soaked with eye remover, so you can remove heavy makeup cleanly without irritation!
