[All makeup beginners, come on in๐] A defined nose? Hey, you can do it too! ๐๐ปโจ
Hello! This is Cotton๐, a member of the 4th Unnie's Pouch Supporters group โบ๏ธ
What do you pay the most attention to when applying makeup?
Base? Shading? Blush? Lips?
I imagine each of you has a part you want to emphasize or excel at.
The tip I brought today is none other than nose shading ๐๐ป โจ
I think nose contouring is something that everyone who wears makeup does, regardless of what kind of nose shape they have!
Did everyone do nose contouring well from the start?
I have a long, bulbous nose, and I think nose contouring is still a difficult part for me ๐ฅบ
However, I came here because I have a nose contouring method that I've been using well lately and do every day ๐ค
I think it would be even more useful for those with a similar nose shape to mine ๐
First of all, let me introduce the product I use!
๐ Peripera V Shading 03 Grayish Cool
This product has no red or yellow undertones, so it is a color that suits cool tones well ๐ฉต
The color payoff isn't too strong, so even beginners can use it easily!
However, here is a little tip ๐ฏ: Since there is some powder fallout, don't forget to gently tap the brush to remove excess powder before applying it to your skinโผ๏ธ ๐
Before I show you the shading technique, I'll show you my nose before makeup.
It looks a bit flat and lacks shading, making the sides of the nose appear wide.
I do my shading like this!
Can you see the colors clearly?
1๏ธโฃ Pink - Background work
Lightly sweep the pink areas with the first color of Grayish Cool! Since this step signals "where I'm going to apply shading," absolutely do not try to make it too darkโjust enough so that only you can tellโญ๏ธ A loose brush is perfect!
2๏ธโฃ Yellow - My nose is here
Iโll work on the details a bit more using the second color from Grayish Cool. Please work in a rounded shape around the sides of the nose and the brow bone! When applying it to the brow bone, imagine drawing large parentheses )( and lightly sweep from the eyelid down to the under-eye areaโญ๏ธ
3๏ธโฃ Green - Finishing touches
Use the third color from Grayish Cool to define the areas you want to emphasize once again! Narrow the area you touched in step 2 and lightly sweep over it. Since I have a long nose, I break it up about twice in the middle โญ๏ธ (You can skip this step if you have a short nose!)
I'll show you the brushes and colors I used in order 1-2-3 ๐
1๏ธโฃ: Etude Shadow Shading Nose Brush
2๏ธโฃ: Fillimilli 551
3๏ธโฃ: Peripera V Shading Brush Special Set (Gift)
The nose's presence has become more distinct compared to earlier, right?
I used highlighter in addition to contouring!
(Product used: Colorgram Milk Yeonglong Heart Lighter 02 Heartbeat Pink)
If you use a highlighter as well, you can create a nose with even more presence ๐
If you apply a light touch to the tip and bridge of your nose, it gives off a subtle pink tint, making it even prettier ๐ฉท
How did you like the nose contouring method I shared today?
I hope this has been helpful to beginners, and I will wrap up here!
Hope everyone gets a pretty nose ๐
