The Winning Shading Method to Remove Mid-Face Length❕

I have a long face overall, with the middle section being on the longer side ❕ It is totally possible to complement this face shape with makeup ✨

 

Today, I’m going to share a foolproof shading technique to erase the length of your mid-face 😶 If you have a similar face shape to mine, give shading a try just like this 🤍

 

 

The area marked in white is for shading, and the area marked in blue is for highlighter❕ To shorten the length of the mid-face

 

✔️When shading the tip of the nose, shorten the length by shading the lower part in a diagonal motion, as if erasing it!

✔️To avoid making the nose look longer, instead of sweeping the entire nose, break the stroke slightly in the middle.

✔️ When shading the bridge of the nose, connect the eyelids to the bridge of the nose rather than starting from the space between the eyebrows.

 

✔️ Apply highlighter slightly above the tip of the nose to make it look shorter!

Since we need to shorten the overall length of the face, sweep the hairline once as well!

 

 

When shading your jawline, aim to reduce the vertical length of your face rather than the horizontal! You should apply the darker color mainly to the tip of your chin.🙌🏻 If you are concerned about your cheeks, lightly sweep a lighter color over the sides.❕

 

 

The product I use frequently is the Clio Prism Highlighter in color 01 Gold Sheer (old version)❕

It is somewhere in the middle—not too artificial, not too subtle—so I use this product as my standard when looking for a highlighter.
