Worried about blackhead management...

I'm curious how you all manage your blackheads. I'm so clueless about cosmetics and beauty that I've never really taken proper care of my skin. However, people who take good care of their skin have great, smooth skin, but I have a lot of blackheads. I've tried nose strips a few times, but it seems like the effect is only temporary.

I'm curious to know what kind of know-how you all have.
