Why do blackheads form on the nose, and what are the best ways to manage them?

My younger sibling is very worried about blackheads around their nose.

It started appearing after I turned 20, and I felt like it was becoming more common.

I've tried using various cosmetics and even nose strips, but it doesn't seem like the problem was fundamentally resolved, so I feel like I'm still stressed about it.
