I'm exfoliating, but my skin texture isn't improving.
When I was young, I had dehydrated oily skin—so it was somewhat greasy—so even without doing much special care, it didn't really feel dry, stinging, or itchy. However, as I got older, at some point, my friends started telling me that my makeup didn't apply well, looked patchy, and seemed rough.
As I thought about what the problem was, I realized that I don't usually exfoliate. It became even more noticeable as the weather got colder.
So, while searching for various products that were supposed to be good, I heard that Mamonde's 'Flora Glow Rose Liquid Mask' was highly recommended, so I bought it right away and have been using it for a few weeks... To begin with, my skin does look shiny immediately after using it. However, do I really need to use this every day? I used to gently wipe my face with a cotton pad soaked in it about twice, or at most three times, a week, followed by toner and cream, but I still have a lot of dead skin cells. My nose and cheeks, in particular, are extremely dry.
I bought this product after seeing reviews saying it makes skin texture as smooth as a peeled egg, but am I using it incorrectly? I saw in the reviews that some people soak a cotton pad generously and place several on their face before applying makeup... Since I'm short on time in the morning, I just soak the back of the pad thoroughly—not quite a lot—and wipe my face.
Am I using the method incorrectly? I would be so upset if I’ve just wasted time and money using it in a useless way for the past few weeks.
Is there any way to use the 'Mamonde Flora Glow Rose Liquid Mask' to maximize its effects?
Or, if you have any recommendations for exfoliating cosmetics or gentle peeling products that help improve skin texture, I would appreciate it if you could let me know! :D
