Are the UV protection effects of tone-up sunscreen vs. regular sunscreen similar?

Personally, I prefer a radiant complexion, so I use Hera or Dalba Tone-Up Sunscreen instead of regular sunscreen. However, I am curious if tone-up sunscreens provide as good UV protection as regular sunscreens. Since the SPF 50+/PA++++ ratings are similar between the regular sunscreen I use and the tone-up sunscreen, I am wondering if their UV protection effectiveness is comparable.
