Has anyone tried cleansing with regular lotion?

They told me it was an actor's skin secret, but

Cleanse with a regular mild lotion and

After using a steam towel

They say it becomes completely white if you wipe it with that towel.

I wondered if this method would actually cleanse, yet

Since I used my usual basic lotion

It seems like it would be good for skin moisturization and nutrition.

Has anyone tried this?
