Slightly acidic? Slightly alkaline? How to distinguish between cleansers

If you look at cleansing advertisements

They were advertising it as being slightly acidic or slightly alkaline.

When I actually looked at the product, I noticed that not all of that was written on it.

Sometimes it’s not acne and can’t be squeezed

White acne-like bumps are popping up.

I heard you should use a mildly alkaline one for this kind of thing.

I can't choose because it's not listed on the product.

Are there any ingredients or methods to distinguish these?
