Is an ampoule not enough to finish my basic skincare routine?

Since I have oily skin, creams feel a bit heavy, so I finish my basic skincare routine with an ampoule.

It was fine in the summer, but I'm not sure how it will be during the dry seasons of autumn and winter.

The moisturizing ampoule I was originally using was fine, but I'm debating whether to look for a slightly lighter cream.
