My lips are so dry these days that even after applying lip balm, dead skin cells start flaking off quickly.
So I'm thinking of applying Vaseline,
I'm used to it because we've had one at home since I was little, but I'm not sure if it's okay to apply it to my lips.
I looked it up and found many posts saying that cosmetic Vaseline is okay to apply to the lips.
But then there are also some people who say that Vaseline doesn't moisturize but rather prevents moisture from evaporating.
I heard that it isn't very effective if you apply it to completely dry lips. Is that true?
So I also saw posts saying to apply lip balm first or on a damp surface, and then apply Vaseline on top.
And you know how sometimes you end up eating a little bit while doing lip care.
They say that much is fine, but for some reason, it still bothers me. 😂
Has anyone tried applying Vaseline consistently because their lips are dry?
I'm curious if anyone saw results, or if lip balm was better!
