Maybe it's because I applied sunscreen without knowing any better back then...
Whenever I went out after applying it... at some point, I would start crying constantly, and it was really bad. So, as I got older... I didn't make sure to apply it as often;;;;; Since I didn't know the reason, I naturally assumed it was because of the sun.
Then!!! Thanks to the knowledge I gained while doing the sunscreen challenge! It was only then that I realized that this is the case when using organic sunscreens. Seriously, how absurd.
Since I switched... I really don't cry anymore. It's amazing.
I guess the saying that you have to keep learning until you die is true!
Among the various mineral sunscreens I came to use...
At some point, I started to like this kid.
It's been a really long time since this became my favorite and my go-to item haha.
It contains Cica ingredients, is hypoallergenic, and has a soft, matte finish with great spreadability. It’s also good for teenagers, so the whole family uses it every day—including me—and the high school and college students are using it well.
What I'm curious about is...
Sunscreen... isn't something you just apply once and that's it...
It has SPF 50+ and PA++++ for long-lasting protection, but...
You know I'm supposed to apply it again every two hours, right?
But... it really wasn't easy.
I don't usually wear much color makeup and often stop at the sunscreen step, so reapplying works well for me then. However, when I go out for a walk rather than a 10,000-step workout—when I apply cushion foundation and just a few simple things on top—after about three hours, it somehow starts to feel... messy? It just feels a bit off. I do make sure to bring sunscreen, but honestly, I get the feeling that reapplying it on top might actually be worse. It just doesn't work at all when I wear color makeup as well.
Since it contains UV protection, I do pat it back in with a cushion, but... it doesn't replenish moisture to my liking, so I'm not really happy with it. I guess it's because my skin is a bit dry.
But... officially, it's good to reapply every two hours... but do those of you wearing makeup apply it over it? Is that the right way? Is it okay to do that? I'm curious because I have a feeling mineral sunscreens might pill a lot.
I saw a sun stick advertised on a home shopping channel recently—it seems like a new product—claiming it can be applied "even over makeup." It’s exactly what I was worried about, so I’m interested, but I hesitated because my past experiences using sun sticks weren't very pleasant. For those who have used that product, do you see any results?
For those wearing makeup, reapply for sun protection..
When I followed the recommended method exactly as written...
Does anyone reapply mineral sunscreen?
