I think it's really good for soothing the skin. It doesn't sting at all, and it feels like it absorbs well. Try taking it out of the refrigerator 10 minutes before use so it isn't too cold. It will prevent tightness after washing your face. Since it makes the skin moist and plump, I use it first thing after cleansing! Give it a try.
