Are there any toothbrushes or toothpastes that are good for the gums?

My gums are usually weak, so they bleed often when I brush my teeth...

Are there any toothbrushes or toothpastes that are good for the gums?

I tend to prefer soft toothbrushes... Are there any products with good value for money?

Or should I go to the dentist and get gum treatment?
