How should those with dry skin approach pore care?
I have notoriously dry skin. During the winter, I have to go all out on moisturizing. No matter how dry it is, there is one thing that has been bothering me lately: my pores. In particular, the dark blackheads around my nose and the enlarged pores are a real source of stress for me no matter how many times I look at them.
So, I'm considering trying a pore care product (pore mask), but is it okay for someone with dry skin like me to use them? Usually, pore-related products are formulated for oily skin with excessive sebum production. I'm really worried that my already dry skin might become even drier or more sensitive. I'm hesitant to reach for things like clay masks because I'm afraid they might make my skin feel too tight after use.
Has anyone with dry skin seen results from pore care (pore masks)? I'm really curious to know which products you used and what routine you followed. Please recommend any special ingredients or products that can manage pores while being less irritating to dry skin! I'm being cautious because I'm worried that trying too hard might make my skin worse.
I've heard that once pores become enlarged, it's irreversible, so I'm seeking advice on how to approach this for dry skin! I would be truly grateful if you could share your valuable experiences and tips! Everyone, please take care of your skin health during this transitional season!
