Today's MOTD: Tips for applying blush naturally ._. plus brush recommendations
This is my first MOTD post.
I feel like I've gotten a little more used to how to apply blush lately.
To those who share the same concerns
I decided to write this because I thought it might be a good idea to share my method :)
I suffered from acne when I was a teenager
My skin has become sensitive and I've developed redness...
It was a struggle every time I applied blush because of this.
It feels like my face keeps flushing no matter how much I try to cover it up.
No matter how pretty the color of the blush I buy
I stopped doing it because I felt like I looked more tacky if I only wore blush, but
It seems pretty good the way I'm doing it now, so I thought I'd introduce it to you.
STEP 1 | Correct redness in the base with color correcting
First of all, if you have redness, you need to cover the redness well with your base.
I think that way, the blush color comes out better when applied.
So, I brought the products I used in today's makeup.
They say everything depends on the equipment, so I ended up bringing a lot of products.
These are the products used as a base.
Luna Long-lasting corrector No. 1 Mint Green, No. 2 Pure Lavender
Wake Make Water Velvet Foundation No. 22
AGE20 's Velvet Lasting Pact No. 23
Color correcting comes first.
You can correct the redness with a base before starting your makeup.
In my case, I have prominent cheekbones and am also concerned about my nasolabial folds.
I also use a variety of color correcting products.
Luna color correcting products are also affordable and
It is also easy to apply with a tip brush.
It seemed okay because it wasn't as drying.
If you are only concerned about redness
You just need to cover the red areas with the green color.
Because you need to cover redness well to ensure the blush shows its color well,
Not only the placement of the blush
You also need to properly address the redness in the inner butterfly zone starting from the bridge of the nose.
That way, only the blush color shows up clearly.
I brightened the area under my cheekbones and the nasolabial folds.
To add volume
I also used purple to add a touch of brightness.
I find shading difficult too, so
I use a foundation with a different shade.
It blends naturally with my skin
I used shade 23 of AGE20's Velvet Pact to create shading, and
WakeMake's newly released foundation is
It's shade 22, but the color came out bright.
Apply this color to the center of your face.
I finished everything from color correcting to foundation.
Even though I applied a thin single layer of foundation
It effectively reduces facial redness.
You can see that the foundation's milky color is well-pigmented.
On top of that, it brightens up dull areas too.
While naturally leaving the shadows on the face
This method is good because it doesn't make my face look puffy.
STEP 2 | Finding the Right Blush Color & Zone for You
Once you finish your base makeup, you can proceed with color makeup.
Since I have redness, I don't tend to apply blush heavily.
To match the color tones of the makeup
I apply blush last.
So I do the eye makeup first.
If you use a multi-palette like this at this time
I think it's better for matching the colors.
In my case, when choosing a blush color
Maybe because I have redness, rather than vibrant colors
A milky white-tinged color similar to foundation
When actually applied, it blends well with the foundation color, and
The color payoff gives a natural, subtle flush that looks like a healthy flush.
So I Clio Pro-I Universe Palette No. 2 In Eternal Space
A color designed to be used as blush SoftConnect I used
Getting the blush positioned is especially important.
Personally, since I have a lot of cheeks...
The height starts around the middle of the nose.
If you apply it broadly following the current trend, it emphasizes the cheekbones.
It doesn't suit me.
In situations like this, I think it's best not to extend the horizontal area of the blush beyond the outer corner of the eye.
And as for the inside, make sure the pupils do not come inward.
It seemed to fit perfectly when applied.
It's about the shaded area.
Since that area isn't as spacious as I thought
For blush, a small brush suited me better than a large one.
It's a Peripera Simple Rain brush.
For those who have difficulty defining the blush area
Using this brush, start at the height of the center of the nose and below the center of the pupil as shown in the photo.
It seemed okay if you spread it out gently or in a straight line.
The color I chose is a pale baby pink.
It looked white when I just swatched it on my wrist.
Applying color to the face like this
It gave off a really natural-looking blush finish, so I thought it was good.
Especially since it effectively corrects redness with color correcting.
I think the color of the blush is really visible.
Today's MOTD is
A color combination that suits those with light cool undertones
I finished it.
These are the products I used.
Clio Pro-I Universe Palette No. 2 Eternal Space
