Personally, I think volume > long-lasting when it comes to mascara.

Of course, it would be best if I could have both.

It has to be applied meticulously to every single strand of hair, but it shouldn't clump, nor should it be uncomfortable to apply because it rubs onto the skin as soon as you put it on—I tend to be quite picky.

I originally liked Helena Rubinstein the most.

After I could no longer take advantage of duty-free shopping due to COVID, I felt it was a waste to pay full price, so after wandering around here and there, the combination I finally managed to settle on is the Etude Fixer + Giverny pairing!

It’s not exactly the same as Helena Rubinstein, and while it’s a bit of a hassle, you can still be somewhat satisfied with these two!

In the summer, with its extreme sweat, masks, and humidity, I prioritize a thin application, coverage, and adherence, considering that it can be wiped off by sweat and oil. Since wearing masks due to COVID, being moisturizing isn't important in the summer!
