It's so famous that I wonder if it really needs an explanation... It has great coverage, and since it's semi-matte, makeup doesn't smudge easily, even for those with oily skin. It's perfect for the weather these days, and if you apply it with a brush, the adherence is excellent!

The second item is the Laura Mercier Primer!

I highly recommend this for controlling pores and oil! Instead of applying with your fingers, spread a thin layer and then gently sweep it along the skin texture with a spatula before applying base makeup; it gives you the effect of having glowing, radiant skin.
