Today's Makeup

It is a daily item that keeps my oily face matte and fresh these days as it gets hotter.

(Clockwise from the light pink container) I'm Uni

Velvet Loose Powder / Pore Blur Pact / Pore Blur Powder

All three have fine particles that effectively cover pores and control oiliness, so I use them well for the final step of my makeup routine and for touch-ups.

Velvet Rouge allows you to choose a shade that matches your skin tone, so if you gently pat it onto the pores and oily areas after applying foundation, it provides coverage while achieving a naturally matte finish. Then, lightly layering the Pore Blur Pact or Pore Blur Powder on top makes my shade 21 skin look even brighter. However, since both are very white, be careful not to overdo the application or pat it in, as it can end up looking like Kabuki makeup. The price is very reasonable. Highly recommended!!

My second daily item is

Romand Zero Velvet Tint #08 Icy

I originally used the Polar shade, but since it was sold out, I hesitated before finally splurging on this one. First off, my hair is naturally very dark black, and before applying makeup, my skin has a mix of redness and yellow undertones (which is interesting). However, as mentioned above, perhaps because the powder I use as a finishing step brightens my complexion, I am finding this shade quite decent. Rather than just swiping it on the back of my hand or bare lips, if I neutralize my lip color with powder or foundation before applying this, the color payoff is radiant. It makes the effort worthwhile and puts me in a good mood.
