Hello, this is Hamquokka, a supporter of Unnie's Pouch :-)

The mission for Week 5 is 'Color Theme Makeup'.

I've always wanted to try heavy black makeup, but since I'm a Summer Cool Light, only light makeup suits me.

However, these days, it's not burdensome Semi-smoky makeup It's trending, so I gave it a try!

Ameli Eyeshadow - 215 Cinnamon Dust

I was hesitant to buy an eyeshadow palette for smoky makeup, but then I discovered the perfect single eyeshadow color. Ameli's 215 Cinnamon Dust It's a color.

It is a calm brown with the reddish undertones removed, so it was good for me to use as a cool-toned person.

I recommend it because the golden shimmer inside prevents your look from appearing dull, even when wearing smoky makeup!

I intentionally applied it intensely to show the color, but it looks natural when applied with a brush.

Even makeup beginners can definitely do smoky makeup! (That's exactly my story haha)

Eye Makeup Process

First, I used the palette I had been using previously.

The palette used this time is WakeMake's New Soft Blurring Eye Palette 04 Lavender Blurring no see. Among them, I used the darkest colors, the ones on the far right.

1) Unmade-up eyes

2) Amelie + eyes with only existing eyeshadow applied

3) Eyes with eyeliner

4) Eyes with mascara and highlighter applied

< Smoky Makeup Tips

1. Matte skin finish

Since the eyes are the key to smoky makeup, it is important to ensure that the gaze is not distracted elsewhere.

So, it is best to make the skin finish as matte as possible.

2. I recommend nude lips.

In the same vein as the first tip, I personally liked that the lipstick wasn't too intense.

This is purely a matter of personal preference, so please take it with a grain of salt :)

Still, matte lipsticks are much prettier than moisturizing lipsticks or Tanghulu.

3. Emphasize eyelash expression

For this makeup look, I looked up a lot of other people's makeup styles.

The most important key to smoky makeup is emphasizing the under-eye area.

So, I think eyelash mascara is important, especially for the lower lashes.

I didn't bother wearing false eyelashes because it was a hassle, but if you do, the results are truly dramatic.

I tried a semi-smoky makeup look like this. What do you think?

I really enjoyed being able to do the makeup I've always wanted to do through this mission.

Then, I'll see you again for next week's mission.

thank you :)
