Mommy Recipe Dark Spot Cream, bought with my own money
As always, I got hooked on the ad and bought it.
The cream jar had a really old-fashioned design. I’m getting old myself, so I feel quite old-fashioned, but this goes beyond retro; it feels like the cream my grandma used in the 70s.
The texture is very silky and smooth. Since it is a perilla seed cream, it seems they designed the color to have a slightly light green tint.
I don't use lotion because I think the difference between lotion and cream is their texture. After cleansing in the evening, I only applied toner and then immediately applied cream.
I don't specifically focus on applying it only to the freckled areas; I just apply it to my whole face, do a little face yoga with my fingers, and then go to sleep.
When you wake up the next morning and wash your face, you can feel your skin becoming smooth and soft. Your face feels so moisturized that it feels a shame to wash it off.
I've been using this for nearly a month, but I don't feel like my dark spots have improved. I'm starting to wonder if I've been ripped off again. I bought this hoping my complexion would brighten up rather than just reduce the dark spots, but no matter how closely I examine it, it looks exactly the same. It doesn't feel brighter at all.

It is excellent for dryness during the changing seasons like now because it coats the skin with oil. I think that is essentially the role of all creams, not just this perilla cream.

I didn't experience any major issues. However, please keep in mind that it varies from person to person!
