Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizing Cream

I bought it from the Kiehl's official website.

It comes in 50ml and 125ml sizes, and it seems they also sell a 150ml refill separately. The Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizing Cream I chose is 125ml; while the quantity is generous, the price is 93,000 won, which is on the higher side compared to the Sidmool products I used previously.

The reason I recommend Kiehl's Ultra Facial Moisturizing Cream as a moisturizer for oily-dehydrated skin lies in an ingredient called squalane. Simply put, squalane is an ingredient that has a structure similar to the sebum produced by the human body.

You might wonder why I would apply sebum, but... haha, to borrow an analogy from YouTuber Jaina, whom I trusted the most (?) when choosing this cream, applying squalane—an ingredient with a structure similar to our sebum—makes the skin try to secrete sebum, only to get tricked into thinking, "Oh? There's already a lot of sebum? It's not dry? Then I guess I can go out now!"

So, it is said that using a product containing an appropriate amount of squalane can reduce the body's own sebum production and secretion, and that reducing the overall amount of sebum can also help prevent pores from widening.
