๐ŸŒฟ Romand Baekmi Tone-Up Cream Review โ€” I didn't expect much, but it's my daily lotion substitute these daysTo be honest, when I thought of Romand, I only thought of tints, so I didn't have high expectations for their skincare... but Romand White Rice Tone-Up Cream My opinion changed a bit after trying this as a lotion substitute. My skin type is combination, leaning towards dehydrated oily skin; my T-zone is shiny while my cheeks tend to be dry, and my skin tone is a yellowish shade that is just slightly lighter than shade 21. When I got my personal color analyzed, it came out as Spring Warm, so I really hate products that look too pale or cakey. When I first applied it, I was surprised by how light the texture was compared to what I expected. It isn't watery like a regular lotion, but rather a cream; it spreads thinly when applied, so it didn't feel heavy or suffocating. I wash my face in the morning, apply just this after toner, and then go into makeup. Since there is almost no creasing, it is great to use before base makeup. I could especially feel a reduction in flaking on my cheeks on dry days.

The tone-up effect isn't an exaggerated white cast; it just makes the skin look more even, giving my yellowish skin tone a slightly clearer look. Since it corrects the color evenly rather than completely changing it, it didn't look unnatural or stand out too much on my spring warm skin tone. However, if you don't control the amount, there might be a difference between your face and neck, so I tend to layer small amounts.

The moisturizing power might be slightly lacking for use on its own on a cold winter night, but it was fine for everyday use as a substitute for lotion. It is almost non-sticky and absorbs quickly, so I didn't have the stress of my hair sticking to it. However, there was one day when it stung very slightly, possibly due to the fragrance, so I think it would be a good idea for those with sensitive skin to test it out first.
