Eucerin Aquaphor Repairing Ointment Review!

My neck skin had become rough and itchy due to contact dermatitis, so I tried various products before discovering Aquaphor. The highly moisturizing lotion I had at home felt like it was just sitting on the surface and didn't make much of a difference, so I started using it with the determination to properly take care of my skin.

Honestly, at first, I felt a bit hesitant about the texture. It was thick and shiny like Vaseline, so when I applied it to my neck, dust and hair stuck to it, and I really hated the sticky feeling. So, I gave up on using it on its own and instead mixed it 1:1 with my usual lotion, put it in a small container, and applied a thin layer every day.

After about a month, I could definitely feel the difference. My bumpy skin texture smoothed out, the itching decreased significantly, and it felt smooth to the touch again. That’s when I realized, "Ah, so that’s why it’s often used for babies' drool rash."

It has a thick consistency, so it might be a hit or miss for some, but if you use it correctly, it is a truly reliable moisturizer. I recommend mixing it with lotion if your skin tends to dry out during seasonal changes or in winter. I will definitely repurchase this once I finish it.
