Top 3 Oil-Moisture Control Creams Recommended for Combination Skin
I have combination skin that is severely dry on the inside and oily on the outside...
It is very oily,
But if I use a light cream, it's too dry.
For oil-moisture control, on the T-zone
Please apply cream separately.
Today, I’m going to introduce the oil-moisture controlling cream I use on my T-zone.
(I bought all of these with my own money and wrote this review after using them personally🤍)
1️⃣ Bioderma Sebium Pore Refiner
A product that can be used as both a primer and a skincare product!
It has a moisturizing cream texture, but the moment you apply it, it becomes surprisingly matte instantly!
I usually apply this to my T-zone before makeup, and I've noticed that less oil comes to the surface when I apply foundation after using this product.
It is said that it not only acts as a primer but also helps shrink pores.
I highly recommend this if you have combination skin and are worried about oily T-zone 🤍
2️⃣ Hanyul Mugwort Hyal Moisture Cream
This is a moisturizing cream that I knew I had to buy from the moment I first tested it at the Olive Young store… (I felt like it would be a perfect fit for my combination skin!!!)
It feels moisturizing when applied, but the finish is fresh and matte. It feels like it provides just the right amount of moisture without any oiliness.
It lacks the typical oiliness or heaviness of moisturizers, and since the texture is closer to a gel, it was perfect for me as someone with combination skin (especially on the T-zone!).
Since it has a relatively light formula, you might think you’ll reach for it often in the summer, but you can use it without any issues in spring and autumn as well. Even now that the weather has turned chilly, I am still using it mainly on my T-zone.
I think it will be enough to use on its own in the summer, so I think I'll end up stocking up on just this cream next summer… 💙
🌿 (*It has Hanyul's signature mugwort scent, so I highly recommend testing it out if you are sensitive to fragrances.)
3️⃣ S Nature Aqua Squalane Moisturizing Cream
A cream that lives up to its reputation as a great makeup cream and radiance cream!
It has a translucent white, watery texture. Even though it isn't thick, it is moisturizing and provides good hydration to the skin.
❗️However! For those with dehydrated oily skin (like me) who have severe internal dryness, it may be difficult to sufficiently relieve dryness by using it alone.
I usually apply this cream to my T-zone and a heavier cream to other areas.
This product really shines when used as part of a morning routine.
If you apply it before makeup, your makeup applies well without smudging, and
On days when I go barefaced, I apply this before sunscreen; it keeps my skin from drying out, so I find myself reaching for it constantly… 🩶
As you can see in the photo, there is a reason why I squeezed it out every last bit 😂 and even stocked up on extras in preparation for the moment I finished it.
✅
Hanyul Moisture Cream and S. Nature Cream may seem similar in that they have a lightweight texture and are good for applying to the T-zone of combination skin,
As I feel
Hanyul offers a slightly matte finish → For those with dehydrated oily skin who are particularly concerned about excess oil/greasiness.
S-Nature has a slightly more moisturizing and glossy finish → More suitable for pre-makeup skincare.
I think that is the biggest difference between these two creams.
The degree to which it relieved dryness was similar.

Winter is for oily-oily skin to regulate moisture.
It feels like a (particularly) tough season 💨🥹
In that case, divide the face into the T-zone and other parts.
It was fine to apply different products to each part.
(Light texture for the T-zone / Thick texture for other areas)
The 3 creams I recommended
Use it on your T-zone and successfully control oil and moisture!
