Please recommend a moisturizing cream for dry skin that doesn't leave the skin feeling tight.

I'm really worried because my skin has been so dry lately. I drink a lot of water and even use a humidifier, but there are limits. I think external hydration is really important. In particular, my skin feels very tight after washing my face, and my makeup looks noticeably patchy. I tried a few dry skin moisturizers, including Dr. G's Oil-Free Non-Comedogenic Moisturizing Cream, based on a friend's recommendation, but they didn't suit my skin well. I want to find a dry skin moisturizer that absorbs well and keeps my skin hydrated all day long. Since I've become very meticulous about ingredients lately, I would appreciate some recommendations for a gentle moisturizer for dry skin. What products do you all use?
