S Nature Aqua Squalane Moisturizing Cream Review (This is a long-term review after using my nth bottle!!)
- Skin type: Dry, but severely dry; T-zone is slightly oily
- Product formulation: Fresh finish, non-sticky
⭕️Pros: It has a high squalane content, so it is good for people who need this ingredient (I am using it with retinol).
It's a non-thick cream, so it doesn't smudge at all even when applied before makeup!
It's perfect for applying sunscreen and foundation right after this👍🏻
I've been using this for a long time and am on my third bottle. I haven't had any breakouts, and it was decent and good!
Also, I felt like my inner glow was a bit less on the day I didn't apply this cream. So, I couldn't really find a substitute with a lot of squalane in it. That's why I'm using it well as a reliable, safe option plus a budget-friendly one when on sale.😋
I've been using this for so long that I'm about to get tired of it, so I'd like to try something new. (If anyone has any recommendations, I'd love to get them...)
❌Con: I have extremely dry skin, so if I only apply this at night before bed, my skin gets super dry the next day lol
So, I add a thick cream to my evening routine! Then, the next day, my face has a beautiful glow😎
It was just right in the morning before applying makeup because the sunscreen had some oil in it, but it feels a bit lacking in the evening.
✔️Recommended for: I hope this is for those who know that squalane works well with retinol and feel that this ingredient is absolutely necessary!
I think I would most highly recommend this to those with combination skin (oily T-zone, dry cheeks).
This cream type is moist and bouncy with very little oil, so I highly recommend it to those with combination skin (oily T-zone, dry cheeks)🙆🏻♀️ If you have dry skin like me but still want to use it, I recommend these three methods!
(1) Apply 2 to 3 times.
(2) Add 2-3 drops of jojoba oil and use.
(3) I recommend applying a thin layer of thick cream (I highly recommend Bioderma Cicabio Rich Balm) on top.👍🏻
And for those of you struggling with blackheads!! If you apply jojoba oil or squalane cream, wait a while, and then roll it in, you will see results!! I find it a bit heavy to roll cleansing oil directly onto bare skin to tackle blackheads in the morning, so I mix squalane cream and jojoba oil in a 2:1 ratio and use it instead of cleansing oil, haha☺️
