Applying body lotion after showering

Since many people apply body lotion after showering, I also applied it to my elbows, heels, and ankles after washing.

I've heard that moisturizing is important. I don't usually apply it in the summer, but I've seen so many people who use hand cream and body lotion even then! I'm going to start applying them from now on, too.

I just had some lotion at home, so I used Nivea lotion. It's not particularly moisturizing, but I used it because I had it.

I'd like recommendations for products that aren't too sticky.
