I liked the scent because it had that signature sweet smell of MAC.

The application is really good. Unlike the existing matte lipstick line, it doesn't feel excessively drying when applied, which is great. My lips are really dry, so I wear lip balm even in the middle of summer, but this one applies well and isn't too drying, so it's the best.

I heard that the color payoff and application were good, so I didn't have high expectations, thinking that if the application wasn't great, it would be worse than a matte lipstick. However, it really makes me think, "This is MAC." I think it would look great for creating a gradient effect.
