The product I use is a rich product for dry and damaged hair, so to minimize heat damage when I use it after washing my hair and before blow-drying.

After drying your hair to some extent, apply an appropriate amount to your hands, rub them together, and then apply the oil by combing through from the ends to the middle of your hair. This minimizes damage during the final blow-drying step, provides highly concentrated nourishment, and protects your hair from external irritants. I highly recommend applying it before blow-drying.
