What is good for calluses on the soles of the feet?

The calluses on the soles of my feet are so severe that even if I file them down with a foot file, the calluses and dead skin come back quickly.

Maman's soles look bad and feel uncomfortable because of the calluses.

Is there any other way to remove it besides using a foot file?
