Makeup Fixer

I've never used a makeup fixer before. Does it really work?

Now that it's summer and I feel like my makeup will break down easily due to sweat, I'm thinking of trying a setting spray.

Please let me know if it is effective. I would also appreciate it if you could recommend any products you have used.
