I have other rubber masks too, so I tried that first, but it only calmed down temporarily and the redness flared up again not long after. The Esol Modeling Pack is definitely more moisturizing and lasts longer. That is why, even though it is a bit of a hassle, it is a product I love and can't help but use. I highly recommend it^^
