My skin holds makeup well, so when I apply eyeshadow, it wears off quickly.

Otherwise, eyeshadow tends to settle into wrinkles due to oil or doesn't show up well, but Laura Mercier provides excellent color payoff that looks like it stains the eyelids, and it doesn't come off even with sweat and oil on the face during the summer.

There are many eyeshadows whose color darkens over time after application, but this product stayed exactly the same until I got home.

So, I have been using this product for over 5 years. The only downside is the price.

Since it's eyeshadow, it's hard to use for more than a year anyway.

Still, it is a good product for the price, so I recommend it.
