Simple Rain Eye Palette

: No. 1 Off Beige / First off, the advantage is that it isn't too flashy and looks really natural. Also, the palette design is simple and pretty. It seems like there is almost no fallout. The glitter applies smoothly and feels moist, so it doesn't seem excessive.

The only downside is that I was a bit disappointed, to the point where I wondered if it was even a Peripera palette.

I did wonder if it was because about half of the colors aren't very intense... But most eyeshadows coming out these days are fine-grained and have good color payoff as a basic feature. This one has minimal fallout, but the color payoff is actually much weaker than I expected. It smudges even when I swatch it with my fingers, and the pigmentation isn't very noticeable either.

So I tried using a brush with really dense bristles, and it worked a bit then, but even then, the shading didn't quite define properly. Honestly, it's a shame because it feels like a palette that isn't worth the price. If you prefer a completely effortless, natural look, you might not see this as a drawback, but since I like eyeshadows with good pigmentation, I didn't really like this palette.
