A failed beauty item I bought with my own money: Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick No. 15

This is the Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick #15 Apricot Swan Star. It is an affordable eye stick containing subtle apricot pearls that emphasizes the under-eye area. Since I like Etude's color makeup line, I expected this type of product to be good and decided to test it out. However, the result was very different from when I tested it on my hand; the color didn't show up well under my eyes, so I wasn't satisfied even after applying it several times. It was quite disappointing. Also, perhaps because I have oily skin, the makeup smudged even more. Thinking that I might have chosen a shade that doesn't suit me, or that it just doesn't match my skin tone, I have left it gathering dust in a drawer. It is very disappointing, but since cosmetics vary greatly from person to person, I am resolving not to rely solely on swatches on my hand when making purchases in the future.
