Do you see results from the eye cream?

I think I've been making sure to apply eye cream separately for about four years now, but maybe because I'm not very observant, I don't really notice any effect.
I wonder if everyone applies it just for peace of mind rather than for the effect.
Are there any eye creams that are good for dark circles?
