La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo + Essence

I get frequent breakouts on my forehead, so I got a recommendation for a soothing essence and bought it right away at Olive Young.

It definitely calms down faster than when I just leave my breakouts alone, so it is a real gem. The soothing effect is the best I’ve ever used.

The texture is closer to a slightly runny lotion, and I like that it absorbs quickly without stickiness with just a few rolls. It is a very satisfying essence because it is non-irritating and does not feel tight or greasy.

It seems to control oil to some extent, and I especially love how the moisturizing effect lasts a really long time. The moment I apply it, there is absolutely no tightness deep inside, and since it is effective for exfoliating, I can really feel my skin texture improving. If I apply this at night and sleep soundly, my skin feels soft and smooth the next day, so it feels great when I wash my face in the morning.

It's a bit expensive, but it's a must-have item I always use on days when my skin is really troubled.
