How do you all manage skin barrier regeneration?
I'm worried because my skin feels like it's suddenly breaking out lately.
It used to be fine, but lately my redness has gotten worse, and my face feels really tight after washing it.
I feel a stinging sensation even when applying my base makeup, and the dead skin cells are noticeable, so my makeup doesn't apply well.
Has anyone else experienced the feeling of a compromised skin barrier like I have?
I'm curious how you managed this situation.
Is there a way to recover a bit with home care before going to a dermatologist?
I'm confused whether I should focus only on moisturizing or if I need to exfoliate as well.
Please also recommend any gentle cosmetics or products that you have seen results from.

- 02CommentsI'm sorry to hear that the Cicaplast Balm didn't suit you. Since your skin becomes sensitive after a procedure, even products that usually work well can be irritating. Please stop using it for now and try using a moisturizer with simple ingredients first, gradually. Personally, I think it would be a good idea to start by testing a small amount of a moisturizing product containing ceramide, such as Estra Atobarrier 365 Cream.782126.10.23

- 01CommentsI also suffered from small pimples for a while. They can appear if your oil-water balance is off or your skin becomes dry. First of all, it is important to moisturize thoroughly. My skin improved after using Wellage ampoules and Estra products. I also recommend Easydew cream.861126.10.25
