Is the daily habit of using a face mask before bed okay for skin health?

Hello. I am an ordinary office worker who is very interested in skincare. After returning home from work and washing my face, applying a cooling mask pack to relax has become one of my small joys and a planned part of my night care routine. However, I suddenly became curious whether this "one mask a day" habit might put a strain on my skin barrier in the long run, so I am posting this question.

 

My skin is a Summer Cool Light type, so I pay a lot of attention to maintaining a clear and radiant complexion. I am satisfied because I feel my complexion brightens immediately after using the mask pack as it replenishes moisture. However, I am also concerned that providing excessive nutrients might weaken my skin's natural regenerative abilities or cause breakouts by over-irritating my sensitive skin.

 

In particular, I would like to receive advice on whether using masks every day before bed might clog my pores, or if there are specific criteria for avoiding masks containing certain ingredients. I would be grateful to hear valuable experiences from experts or those who have consistently used face masks. It would be a great help to me to know the right direction for skincare, as I want to maintain healthy and clear skin for a long time.

    전 주에 1~2회! 저도 매일 쓰면 더 건조해져서 ㅠㅜ 그냥 세럼으로 수분감 채우고 있어요! 아님 수분감 주는 팩은 그정도 쓰고 각질 케어 팩을 써보시는건 어떤가요?

    사람마다 다르겠지만 매일 쓰면 오히려 더 안좋다고 들어서요...! 일주일에 2회정도 하고 있어요! 평소에는 토너패드를 사용해요!
