'20kg Weight Loss' Honey J flaunts perfect S-line figure... What 'exercise' did she reveal as her secret?

Dancer Honey J (36) showed off her perfect body on the beach.

On the 6th, Honey J posted several photos on her Instagram with the caption, “The background isn’t a drawing, it’s a real photo. It was really so pretty and I really worked so hard.”

In the photo, Honey J showed off her perfect S-line figure while wearing a white bikini top. Honey J, who previously revealed that she gained 20kg after giving birth last year, said, “Actually, I deliberately scheduled things (after giving birth).”

She explained, “I was worried that my return would be delayed otherwise,” adding, “I had performances booked, so I had no choice but to practice, and I naturally lost weight.” Let’s take a closer look at the health benefits of dancing, which Honey J cited as her secret to losing weight after childbirth.

◇ Simultaneous aerobic and anaerobic effects

Dancing is an aerobic exercise, but at the same time, it is also an anaerobic exercise that builds muscle strength and endurance.

First, aerobic exercise helps reduce swelling.

This is because aerobic exercise not only stimulates the soles of the feet but also promotes smooth blood circulation as muscles rapidly relax and contract. Furthermore, aerobic exercise helps with weight loss by burning body fat. The amount of calories burned through dancing is also significant. According to a 2008 study by Professor Jin Geon of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Dankook University Hospital, dancing fast-paced dances such as Quickstep, Samba, and Jive was found to burn 605 kcal per hour. In particular, greater weight loss effects can be seen when performing aerobic exercise on an empty stomach in the morning. During exercise, carbohydrates and fats are burned together,

This is because body fat burns more rapidly on an empty stomach due to the absence of carbohydrates. Additionally, dance involves many movements that utilize the waist and lower body, often requiring the user to hold a specific posture. By continuously using muscles to maintain this position, one naturally obtains the benefits of anaerobic exercise.

◇ Also helps alleviate depression and anxiety

Dancing is also very beneficial for mental health. A Swedish research team divided 112 individuals exhibiting symptoms of depression and anxiety into two groups: one that learned to dance regularly twice a week and another that did not, and tracked them for eight months. The results confirmed that the group that danced showed higher self-esteem than the group that did not. The effects of dancing persisted for eight months after the study ended. There are also research findings confirming the anxiety-relieving effects of dancing on schizophrenic patients with severe anxiety symptoms. A research team at Drexel University in Philadelphia divided 32 schizophrenic patients into two groups; one group received speech therapy, while the other received dance therapy. The results showed that patients in the dance therapy group experienced a significant reduction in symptoms such as auditory hallucinations, paranoia, and delusional thinking, increased emotional expression, and alleviation of depression and anxiety symptoms compared to those who did not.

◇ You should refrain from overexerting yourself to imitate it.

However, to benefit your health, you must learn a dance style that suits you. Patients with high blood pressure should learn to dance slowly to avoid straining their hearts. Additionally, you must be careful, as overexerting yourself to imitate professional dancers can lead to injury. Movements such as bending and straightening the knees, jumping high, and sudden changes in direction can put excessive strain on the knees. To prevent joint damage, it is advisable to perform simple stretches before and after dancing. If you sustain an injury while dancing, you must stop immediately and take a rest.

=====================

I've noticed that there are many cases where dieting obsession even leads to depression.

It seems like there are a lot of people these days losing weight by dancing while watching YouTube.

Since dancing is their profession, it looks like they used dancing to lose weight.

That's amazing; I can't tell how much effort you put in to lose 20kg.
