Review of Romand Glasting Water Tint: Dewy Lips That Look Even Prettier in Natural Light
My skin type is dehydrated oily, so my face is shiny but my lips are dry, which is a bit of an awkward situation. My skin tone is between shades 21 and 22, and I am often told that my personal color is closer to Summer Cool. Therefore, when choosing lip products, I tend to pick colors with a translucent finish rather than high-saturation reds.
When you first apply this tint, you immediately get the distinct impression that it is a water tint. Its lightweight and thin texture adheres perfectly to the lips, so it feels completely comfortable; it doesn't feel like a film has been applied, but rather like the color has simply seeped in. After a little while, a shimmer emerges on top, as if coated with a glossy finish, which looks truly beautiful in natural light. Without exaggeration, the lips look hydrated.
The pigmentation is quite good, so the base color remains even after drinking coffee or having a light snack, meaning touch-ups weren't really necessary. However, on days when my skin is very dry, applying a lip balm underneath makes for a much prettier finish. I found using it that way to be the most comfortable.
Overall, I felt that this tint is especially suitable for days when I don't wear heavy makeup. Even though my skin tone is on the lighter side, it doesn't stand out too much and naturally enhances my complexion, so I find myself reaching for it constantly for school or casual outings. I think it's worth trying at least once if you like dewy lips 🙂
