Clio Kill Cover Cushion 23N Ginger Review

My face tone is a medium, average skin tone.

I don't have dark circles, but I have a few freckles under my eyes.

It is a type that is not very oily.

But it's not dry either.

However, if you only sweat around your nose and need to touch up your makeup, you only need to do the area around your nose.

It holds up well enough that I don't need to touch up my makeup in other places.

I tend not to wear much makeup.

I do my basic skincare, sunscreen (I use Hera tone-up sunscreen), and just cushion foundation.

I do wear a little makeup on special occasions... but I don't think it happens that many times a year.

Back when dewy skin was in style, I used a cushion that gave a moist finish.

At some point, I started to like matte products.

So I'm looking for matte lipstick and cushion foundation.

The sunscreen I'm currently using is on the oilier side, so I thought a matte cushion would be fine.

I found out about the Clio Kill Cover Cushion through an acquaintance's recommendation and have been using it, and I am satisfied.

I'm already on my fourth use.

Just because it's called 'Kill Cover' doesn't mean the coverage is really good.

If you want perfect coverage, I think you need to use foundation and concealer.

I don't use it because I prefer something lightweight.

I heard that this is the most matte among Clio cushion products.

It isn't completely matte, so there is a very slight moisturizing effect after applying the cushion.

On hot days like these, I don't even like this moisture, so I finish with powder.

You can think of it as having a matte finish that means you don't need to use powder except in the summer.

I use the darkest 21N Ginger.

I chose the brightest color at first.

An Olive Young employee recommended it to me after seeing my skin tone.

But it felt too bright to me, so when I bought it next time, I chose a darker cushion.

But I still don't like it, so now I use the darkest cushion.

It doesn't feel dark at all.

It doesn't seem like a color that people with very tanned skin or naturally dark skin should use.

I like it because the tone is expressed very naturally.

It doesn't get dark just because you apply it a little thicker.

I plan to continue with this tone from now on.

The case is a decent size, and I like the color. Unless I have a change of heart, I think I will continue using it.
