The dermatologist told me to just rinse off the cleansing oil with water and not do a second cleanse.

My face broke out recently, so I went to a dermatologist near my house.

I heard something unexpected from the doctor…

Regardless of the current skin breakout,
I usually do a first cleanse with oil or cream, and
I heard it's better to just rinse with water and be done with it...

Washing your face a second time with a foam cleanser
I heard that it might actually hinder skin barrier recovery.

They say it gets clean enough with just water. Hmm.

Has anyone ever heard a story like this?

I'm currently using Manyo Factory cleansing oil
I lather up for both my first and second cleanses.
I'm wondering if I should change my face washing routine...
