How long can I use foam cleanser that has expired?

I wash my face using various products, such as soap and foam cleanser. Sometimes, I get tired of the foam cleanser and switch to a different one, only to find that the expiration date has passed. In such cases, is it okay to continue using the expired foam cleanser? The ingredients in expired products have deteriorated and can damage the skin. It can be coated and often fails to function properly. Therefore, it is safe to dispose of expired products.
