I've been stuck at home all day; how should I wash my face with cleansing foam?

I’ve been staying home all day, and I’m wondering if I really need to use cleansing foam to wash my face. Actually, I haven't gone out and haven't sweated much, but when I use cleansing foam out of habit, my face feels really tight after washing. My skin feels severely dry, so I’m worried it might actually be irritating. I’m confused whether it’s okay to just wash with mild soap, or if using cleansing foam is the right choice. Since I care so much about my skin, I find myself being very careful even with small decisions. By any chance, how is it best to wash your face on days like mine when you just stay at home? I want to find the most natural and gentle method for the sake of my skin health. When my face feels really tight, I end up applying a lot of moisturizing cream, and I get breakouts easily too.

Since I'm not going out and I'm not wearing makeup, do I need to skip washing my face with cleansing foam?

What should I do?
